Men’s Team Excels in 114-52 Win over Ft. Dodge
In their second home meet of the week – the guys took on conference opponent Ft. Dodge on 11/30/23. The guys put on a strong performance dominating various events. From sprints to longer distances, and all the strokes in between, the team displayed depth and skill throughout the evening.
Meet Highlights
While we’d like to mention everyone – here’s just a few highlights from the night!
- Harrison Eighmy won both of his individual events – 23.00 in the 50 Free and 58.64 in the 100 Fly
- Brayden Plourde took 3rd in the 50 Free with a 25.31 and won the 100 Free in 55.16
- Vincent Martin won the 200 IM in a 2:26.19
- Jack De Meyer took 2nd in the 500 Free with a 6:05.94
- Adam Lingor swam took 4th in 100 Butterfly (1:11.91) and 2nd in the 100 Breaststroke (1:12.83).
- Keegan Kraft raced to 1st in the 100 Back with a 1:05.54
- Colby Comer securing the 3rd spot in the 100 Fly with a time of 1:08.96.
- Dylan Marquardt won the 100 Breaststroke in a time of 1:09.19
- Kingston Smith’s strong breaststroke time of 1:19.96
- Judah De Cleene swam his 50 Free in a 34.18
- Aidan Basinger raced to a nice time of 31.21 in his 50 Free
- Trafton Baity took 3rd in the 500 Free with a 6:16.09!
The Rails big win in the recent meet was a testament to the team’s versatility and depth. From freestyle dominance to mastery in the strokes, the team showcased excellence across various events. As the season progresses, Des Moines Lincoln’s diverse line-up positions them as a strong force in the conference.
